With the turn of the month, Summer Camp 2026 is officially closed, and the Reading Challenge begins! Anything you're particularly excited to read about? I have a theme in mind for my reading, but it might take me some time to assemble. If you're looking for more to read, I have two suggestions:
First, I've closed out the #submissions">2026 Show Your Colors challenge from June, and there are several lovely stories available for your reading pleasure. They don't count for the official reading challenge, but if you have 3 minutes to spare I highly recommend picking a story and giving the author some love!
Second, you know I can't make this post without sharing my own Summer Camp articles. This year, I started on an epistolary worldbuilding project, in which each article is a series of journal entries. If you're interested in something not quite fantasy, not quite sci-fi, and all quite speculative, you can read the first entry or #articles">see all my SC-submitted articles.
As for me, I'm going to be reading some settlements. After that, I'm very excited to resume work on talos. I have a new project for it I can't wait to start.

I am having the time of my life writing in this new world! Being exhausted all the time nowdays, so spending my free time in something more cozy proves to be a great escape for me. That said, I hope SC will give me some new inspiration to revisit my other worlds as well soon! Until then, I will spend my time in the House of Imagination pursuing my wish to learn how to draw!! I'd love to know what you think, and as always feedback is more than welcome <3

New Art Post Tomorrow, Waiting on WorldEmber Judging, and More Snow!

Sometime tomorrow I'll post more #artwork that I drew for all WA to see, which I'm all too happy to do. I'll review the original art I'll be posting sometime tonight.
I'm also dealing with the final preparations before it snows here again in NC due to the second upcoming Winter Storm. All this snow and ice coming here yet its not even Feburary yet. If I get anymore snow in NC again, I'm gonna start looking for a throne (wink, wink).
As for recent articles I created for my world of Arktoria, I'm waiting on the #WorldEmber judging process to finish before I touch them again. Although I badly, BADLY, want to give them further edits! Why must I wait so long????

I'm not feeling the best due to being under the weather, but I did want to post another drawing of mine despite that. For this post, I decided to do something of a "blast from the past" type. This is one of my many original characters that I created many years ago. I was transitioning from high school to attending a community college when I drew this. I wanted to experiment with doing a full body drawing. This oc will appear in my world of Arktoria at some point, although there will be major changes to his overall design.

Hello everyone! A while back I did promise to start sharing more of my original artwork, and here I am doing just that.
I created this piece recently as I wanted to update an older piece I did while working at a community college. Mainly targeting how a cloak would wrap on a character based on their kind (This was also partly inspired by the "Dynasty of Evil" cover of the Darth Bane Saga of Star Wars books).
