Though Varah gifts power to mortals infrequently, granting divine energy to items is far more rare. This gold ring is embedded with an oval-shaped amethyst that glitters and shines, as though with the stars. This ring grants a +1 item bonus to Starlit Tapestry Lore checks and grants you the trained proficiency in it if you weren't already trained.
If you are a cleric of Varah, you can target the ring when you Cast a Spell of up to a level lower than your highest level spell slot. If you do, the ring becomes attuned to this spell and can be cast from the ring as if it were a spell slot. After casting the spell from the ring, the ring loses its power. It regains this power during your next daily preparations, allowing the the spell inside of it to be cast again. The spell you cast into the ring cannot have a higher casting time than three actions. It still takes the same number of actions you used to cast it earlier.
