Lorisa's first mission on her own was something she considered a very exciting thing. She can finally prove herself to her party of not being extra weight and how she can legitimately contribute something. Standing in line, she awaiting the next assignment, though Colbert would cross her mind occasionally. Whatever he was doing, she would surely know one day. Or she would wake up. Either way, she was not too concerned. Her shoulders stiffened up as soon as Captain Codwell crossed into the room.
"Agents, your assignment this time is simple and life threatening. The agents in the party for the Midwest will be coming with me to handle the Rock Worms in the north before they go beyond our reach. Everyone else, you will be attacking the blood testing facility. Now that they have no way to fight without their Rock Worms or Daptive, we will have an opportunity to strike-" Sirens went off in the headquarters cutting him off mid sentence.
"You have got to be- Tanner!" Captain Codwell's eyebrows were furrowed and it was clear the man was in full rage.
"I see you..." The cackles of the maniac's voice pierced through the soul of every being in there.
"You don't know what we're planning!" Codwell barked into the air. If people had not have heard the voice themselves they would have thought the captain to be mad, for he treated as seriously as a heart attack.
Lorisa had not an idea of what to think. Her heart pounded too loudly in her ears for her to be able to have any train of thought. Not only could she hear the voice, but she could feel the presence. Behind her. Beside her. Above and below. Chills went down her spine and would not stop.
"I see you..."
"He's trying to trick us. Let's go, men!" He turned to the crowd and darted to the doors as the laughter grew and they began to see a purple haze.
And it was said. Lorisa followed her group and was ready for combat. If she could defeat one before, surely she could do it again. Boarding the T1 3000, they were ready to vanquish these creatures.
Two hours had passed by as they traveled through the night sky and one could begin to feel the frost of the air strike the metal when Agent Tex said to Codwell from the front of the aircraft, "Captain...this is not good..."
"My gosh." They were in awe of whatever it was they were watching, "The size of that thing is ridiculous."
As soon as they turned to the right, she was able to see what they were talking about and was in equal if not surpassed awe. A huge, ellaborate, black tower built like an old cathedral if it was the size of a mountain. She was utterly amazed until she saw a Rock Worm crawl through one of the windows and she knew it was going to be a long mission.
"Welp, you're not even the slightest bit nervous?" Zitro asked as he locked his weaponry in.
She scoffed, "No, I am just aware that I can't die."
"Wait, so you're immortal or something? Is that how you got in the resistance?"
"No, I'm dreaming."
"Huh-" He raise his eyebrows very fiercely and his eyes grown drastically.
"Anyhoo, we have a battle to win. We should focus, don't you think?"
"...Yeah. Sure...."
