"So, how are we going to go about this?" asked Thror. "We'll go straight in" responded Brynjolf. Brynjolf had no fear of Orcs, as he had a Mithsteel Axe. He screamed "Dwarves! Charge forth for the Ancestors these Orcs hath felled!" as he charged into battle. The Dwarves cut down swaths of Orcs at the gates, as they pulled the lever to let themselves in. As they pulled the lever, the gate slowly opened. They stormed through the Gates and cut off the legs of the Orcs. As they cut through the Hordes, Brynjolf noticed a Large Red Orc heading out of Khind-Daruk, towards the Darklands. His only thought of it was that it must be Kringnar Blood-Red, Chieftan of The Bonecrusher Tribe. When they finally reached the Entrance of Khind-Daruk, they found the halls empty, devoid of life. They discovered former Dwarven Homes converted into Cells, and mead halls turned into Execution Chambers. As they entered the Mithril-Vaults, they saw a blinding light. This was the first time any of them had laid their eyes on Pure Mithril, and so their eyes had not adjusted to the Brightness of it. As they collected bars of Mithril, they felt it warm to the touch. As they exited Khind-Daruk, the remaining Orcs ran away from them, being unable to look at the Mithril without being blinded.
