The ward has hit points equal to twice your wizard level + your Intelligence modifier. Whenever you take damage, the ward takes the damage instead. If this damage reduces the ward to 0 hit points, you take any remaining damage.\r\n \r\nWhile the ward has 0 hit points, it can't absorb damage. but its magic remains. Whenever you cast an abjuration spell of 1st level or higher, the ward regains a number of hit points equal to twice the level of the spell.\r\n \r\nOnce you create the ward, you can't create it again until you finish a long rest.\r\n \r\nProjected Ward\r\nStarting at 6th level, when a creature that you can see within 30 feet of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to cause your Arcane Ward to absorb that damage. If this damage reduces the ward to 0 hit points. the warded creature takes any remaining damage.\r\n \r\nImproved Abjuration\r\nBeginning at 10th level, when you cast an abjuration spell that requires you to make an ability check as a part of casting that spell, you add your proficiency bonus to that ability check.\r\n\r\nLinguist\r\nYou have studied languages and codes, gaining the following benefits:\r\n\r\n\u2022 You learn three languages of your choice.\r\n\r\n\u2022 You can ably create written ciphers. Others cannot decipher a code you create unless you teach it to them, they succeed on an Intelligence check (DC = your Intelligence score + your proficiency bonus), or they use magic to decipher it.\r\n\r\nWar Caster\r\nYou have practiced casting spells in the midst of combat, learning techniques that grant you the following benefits:\r\n\r\nYou have advantage on Constitution saving throws that you make to maintain your concentration on a spell when you take damage.\r\n\r\nYou can perform the somatic components of spells even when you have weapons or a shield in one or both hands.\r\n\r\nWhen a hostile creature's movement provokes an opportunity attack from you, you can use your reaction to cast a spell at the creature, rather than making an opportunity attack. The spell must have a casting time of 1 action and must target only that creature.\r\n\r\nArcane Recovery\r\nYou have learned to regain some of your magical energy by studying your spellbook. Once per day when you finish a short rest, you can choose expended spell slots to recover.
