{"name":"Way of the Earthblood (Homebrew, Restricted)","overview":"Formed under pressure. Molten by heat. Adapted for Life. \u2014 Earthblood Mantra\r\n\r\n Deep below the surface, one can find age-old dwarven monasteries. The secrets contained within these halls are as old as earth and stone. The dwarves who commit their lives to learning the monastic teachings do so to better understand themselves, for all dwarves were formed from earth and stone. With deeper understanding, comes greater control over one\u2019s body and inner workings. Some dwarves remain unmoving for decades in an attempt to elicit the hidden secrets within them, the powers that come from their own earthblood.\r\n\r\n[h1]Favorite Stone[\/h1]\r\nMonks who follow the Way of the Earthblood pick their favorite stone from a myriad of options when they enter the monastery. The tutors know how to best handle their pupils, based on their choice and associated nature.\r\nFavorite stone\r\n[table]\r\n[tr]\r\n[th]d6[\/th]\r\n[th]Stone[\/th]\r\n[th]Nature[\/th]\r\n[\/tr]\r\n[tr]\r\n[td]1[\/td]\r\n[td]Granite [\/td]\r\n[td]You are tough as nails, nothing throws you off balance.[\/td]\r\n[\/tr]\r\n[tr]\r\n[td]2[\/td]\r\n[td]Pyrite[\/td]\r\n[td]You have a fiery temperament that causes much trouble.[\/td]\r\n[\/tr]\r\n[tr]\r\n[td]3[\/td]\r\n[td]Limestone[\/td]\r\n[td]You soak up knowledge and wisdom like a sponge.[\/td]\r\n[\/tr]\r\n[tr]\r\n[td]4[\/td]\r\n[td]Sandstone[\/td]\r\n[td]You are adaptable and reliable.[\/td]\r\n[\/tr]\r\n[tr]\r\n[td]5[\/td]\r\n[td]Gypsum[\/td]\r\n[td]You form close bonds and everlasting friendships.[\/td]\r\n[\/tr]\r\n[tr]\r\n[td]6[\/td]\r\n[td]Obsidian[\/td]\r\n[td]You experienced an upheaval that left you brittle.[\/td]\r\n[\/tr]\r\n[\/table]\r\n\r\n\r\n[h1]Rocky Punches[\/h1]\r\nStarting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you begin to understand the nature of earth and stone and learn how to focus your ki to empower your punches. If you do not move during your turn and use Flurry of Blows, attacks granted by Flurry of Blows deal an extra 1d4 bludgeoning damage. You cannot use this feature on a turn during which you used any portion of your movement.\r\n\r\n[h1]Solid Foundation[\/h1]\r\nAt 6th level, you deepen your understanding of earth and stone and learn how to focus your ki to harden your body. If you end your turn without using your movement, you can spend 1 ki point to gain a +1 bonus to your AC. The bonus increases by +1 to a total of +3 for every turn you do not move. If you use any portion of your movement, the bonus is lost.\r\n\r\n[h1]Rolling Stone[\/h1]\r\nBeginning at 11th level, you rethink your prior enlightenments and harness the force of acceleration with your ki. If you move at least 30 feet straight toward a target, you can spend 3 ki points to deal maximum damage for any melee weapon attack made with your fists or a monk weapon. Additionally, once per turn, you deal an additional 3d6 force damage with your first attack that hits using this feature.\r\n\r\n[h1]Grounding[\/h1]\r\nAt 17th level, you become one with the ground. You gain immunity to lightning damage. Additionally, when you are hit with a weapon attack, you can use your reaction and expend 3 ki points to gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage from nonmagical attacks until the beginning of your next turn.\r\n","hitdice":"d4","hitpointsfirstlevel":"","hitpointsathigherlevels":"","armorproficiencies":"","weaponproficiences":"","tools":"","savingthrows":"","skills":"","equipment":"","spellcasting":"","features":"","subclasses":"","tabledata":"","tags":"","templateId":"25","blockId":"488218","world":"0741b052-677d-47e0-94e1-5d2c72b0bd70","folder":"","isShared":"on"}
