Harsh reality forced gnomes to adapt, so most of them moved to Fourways' Golden Carnival as performers and some became thieves like Kaerwyd. Over decade later Merchant King Fransisco is killed and rumors among thieves told that the assassin used illusion magic. No-one actually suspected forest gnome's involvement, but Kaerwyd knew that one woman from his tribe, [i][b]Sanra Sharpthorn[\/b][\/i] had the motive, means and time to be part of that assassination. Kaerwyd and Sanra have bump heads with each other dozen times robbing the same mansions and dungeons (the score is 5-7 for Santra). While they have a [i][b]playful rivalry[\/b][\/i], she can be extremely ruthless and heartless killer of humans and individuals with ill-intents.
