After years of traveling on the “Duskwalker,” Ro and crew found the black box of the century lost ship the “Pandemonium.” The video on the black box is from one of the crew aboard the missing ship, Gene Ryel, which contains strange and horrific details of the events that led to the disappearance of not only the crew and Captain but also the suspected four thousand attendants of the military party ship. After concluding the events that led her to the position she was in when making the video she signs off with final, dire, instructions “Do not look for us. Do not try to find us. If for some unforsaken reason, life forbid, you do manage to find us, make sure you are carrying atomics and destroy every atom of the ship and its inhabitants. Do not attempt to board and loot because we are all dead, just make sure you annihilate every piece of hull from the ship. This is Gene Ryel, Pandemonium Second Lieutenant, signing off for good.” With this chilling message, the crew sets off to leave this sector and alert the Liberation of their find, only to stumble into the very ship they were going to report. Taken aback by the sudden appearance, and the inability to pilot “The Duskwalker” any further, they have no choice but to investigate the derelict ship. What they find will make them regret not leaving sooner.
